New Life Community Church: is a non-denominational Korean church plant that we will be opening up our facility to next month. They will be meeting here Sunday afternoons and possibly a couple of other times during the week. This is a great opportunity to partner with God's people in reaching out to our community and seeing the Kingdom of God grow across ethnic lines.
Covenant Bible Camp: begins June 2nd with High School Camp followed by Jr. High, and two more weeks of elementary age campers. Our Youth Director will be in Unalakleet for both the Sr. High and Jr. High camp. If you know of anyone that would like to attend either camp there are some part scholarships available for first time campers. Contact Pastor Rick for information.
Mexico Mission Trip: Our team would like to learn some Spanish phrases and some Spanish songs that we can teach to the children of the orphanage we will be visiting. If you speak Spanish and would be able to help the team in preparation, please call Marne Rickards or Pastor Rick.
Opportunities to Serve: According to Philippians 2 serving leads to joy. These are not all, but they are some serving opportunities at C3: The Clean Team (2-3 hours once a week for two consecutive weeks about 3 times a year); Jr. Church teacher or assistant (once a month during the sermon - requires an application with our Jr. Church Director); Audio/Visual Team (As needed); Baristas (making coffee, serving donuts etc.); Greeters (3 Consecutive Sundays twice a year); Nursery (as needed - requires applying with our Nursery director). All of these positions include: working with some of the best volunteers in Fairbanks; some training; and a whole lot of joy. Where do you see yourself fitting in? Please call the office, or mark the connection card this Sunday and we will connect you with the right people.
Now that spring has sprung: we will be having some Saturdays of Service to look after the facility exterior and grounds. C3 will be needing men/women/youth to mow, stain, paint, etc.over the summer. If you are able and available please mark the connection cards in the next few weeks.
